BCM has a well-equipped library containing over 19,500 physical items including books, periodicals, and AV material. Membership also includes access to electronic databases. Internet access is available through connection to the BCM network. All enrolled students have automatic membership rights. External borrowers may register at a cost of $50 pa. Catholic Institute of Aotearoa New Zealand (WCEC) Library

The CIANZ  Library is a general theological library with a particular focus on Catholic matters and Religious Education. CIANZ Library is located on the ground floor of the Catholic Centre, 22-30 Hill Street, Thorndon. The library is open weekdays from 8.30am to 4.30pm and all are welcome. The library does not have a website, online catalogue, or librarian. Wellington Institute of Theology Library (WIT Library)

The WIT Library is a general theological collection, situated on the first floor of the Anglican Centre, Eccleston Hill, Thorndon (uphill from the Cathedral). The Library is open during office hours, and access is open to all. Borrowers must be members of the Library, paying an annual fee of $25 (waged) or $15 (unwaged), (There is also a branch library in Palmerston North, located at St Peter’s Church, Ruahine St.)  Postal borrowing is available by arrangement with the Librarian. The library does not have a website or online catalogue, but the holdings are in the process of being added to the ‘off-site’ section of the John Kinder Theological Library in Auckland.  This will enable online searches to be made via the Kinder website. Ramsey House Library (AngChap VUW)

The Baines-Wylie and Clyde Vautier collections are the foundation for this general theological library, which is regularly updated, and which is held at the Anglican Chaplaincy centre (Ramsey House, 8 Kelburn Parade, Wellington). The library features biblical commentaries, theology, and the interface between theology and contemporary society. The library is open Tuesdays to Fridays during academic semesters, excluding summer school; and by appointment. It is recommended that enquirers ring the Anglican Chaplaincy (04 4635499) to check specific opening times.   Membership: students free ($40 student bond refundable), general members $25 per annum.
